School educa�on is a joyful journey. This has been a saying of Sherwood Public School. I have been
watching this for many days during the online classes. I would like to put up my experience into words to
express the good efforts of school and above all the teachers who have been doing their very best to
educate the children.

It's been very difficult to handle the children in the online classes but the teachers have immense pa�ence
to handle the class very effec�vely.

A teacher requires so many posi�ve quali�es like care, compassion, passion, pa�ence and commitment.
They have all these quali�es in abundance. We did not want a teacher who simply educated our children,
we wanted someone who cares for our children by helping our child to develop his or her social skills and
make them feel confident in the class. The school has provided exactly what we were looking for.

Educa�on did not stop during lockdown, instead, it moved online. School has adopted a wide range of
virtual learning tools and tutoring pla�orms. In this pandemic situa�on, I have seen all the students ge�ng
equal a�en�on from the teachers and the teachers acted as a big support since the class sessions began.

Our li�le sprouts need a good nourishment of knowledge. No big words but I appreciate such teachers who
add value to your future genera�on. Teachers are really an asset to the school. I personally have seen such
dras�c change not only in a�tude but also overall knowledge and result.

I thank each and every teacher of Sherwood Public School with the same gra�tude for cul�va�ng the
posi�vity in hard �mes.

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about the Virtual Science Fair held at Sherwood Akshar, by their
beloved teachers, students and parents. It was teamwork a�er all. It was fun making costumes and project
models with kids and watching them perform so confidently. It makes me feel proud each day as they are
growing. All the kids of class PP2 were dressed up according to their topic with props and explained about
their topic well. Some of them presented themselves as our community helpers like a doctor, teacher, chef,
farmer, milkman etc. Few of the kids came up with beau�ful descrip�ons about flowers like rose, sunflower,
marigold etc, and there were also li�le scien�sts performing science experiments on mixing of colors, sink
and float, floa�ng egg, invisible wri�ng etc. Few kids also role played as father, mother, sister, grandmother
etc. This way they learnt about the role and importance of each member of the family.

We had an amazing Science Fair. Although it was virtual, we all had a great experience. All the students,
parents and teachers le� no stone unturned to make this wonderful event a great learning experience in a
fun way. As parents, we were blown away and I give so much credit to all the parents of our li�le
Sherwoodians and our beloved teachers who are always consistent in communica�ng with each kid in the
class and always very responsive to parents’ ques�ons with always a smile on their faces. Our kids are lucky
to be learning with such incredible, passionate, compassionate and remarkable teachers.

With this, I, Smita Srinivasa Rao Pathangae, conclude by thanking all our teachers for their con�nuous love
and support during this pandemic.
