For the Future Leaders
Ever wondered why a lion is considered as the king of the jungle? Neither is it the fastest, nor the
largest in size , not even the cleverest of all the animals. It’s the behaviour and some aributes that
lead to the coronaon of the lion as the king of the jungle.
I have aended “The Leadership Conference” conducted by Rotary Club for Interact Clubs which was
hosted by counsellor Ms.Suman Rangabashyam. I would like to share a few traits that would help develop
your personality to become a leader.
So what exactly does it take to be a leader?

         • Leaders are men of acon.
97% are those who wish to achieve their goals. The rest 3% are those who strive to advance their plans
to reach their goal. Do not hesitate to be the first to try something.
         • Never play the vicm.
ECB – excuse, complain, blame are the worst enemies that hinder leadership. Believe in what you have
to achieve that you don’t have.
         • Dream big and do not be afraid to speak about your big goal.
Make your own plan for ‘how you see yourself’ in the next 10 years.
         • Be the strategist.
Know what it takes to reach your goal.
         • Brand yourself.
Personal branding is about taking responsibility over how you present yourself. By showcasing unique
character traits and having an acve presence, you can work towards building a self-brand that
resonates with people you are with and reputes you as a leader.
         • What consumes your mind, makes your life.
Mind controls everything you do. Be alert and remain grounded.
         • Team work makes the dream work.
Learn to co-operate and guide your peers towards soluons.
         • Most importantly, “never give up”.
                                                                                        - Harshitha Gaupalli, XII

Virtual Schooling during the era of uncertainty
Well, our tenth grade ended rather abruptly, and not in
my wildest dreams had I imagined that it would end this
way. It was indeed a surreal experience. I was prey
delighted and keen at the news of our school reopening.
But something which was slightly disappoinng was the
fact that we would connue aending the virtual
sessions, which prevented us from sing in a
classroom, meeng our teachers and peers. That by no
means made my excitement any less, and well, to be
honest, had not we all seen it coming due to the
pandemic. Then the day arrived when our school was
finally going to reopen. During our first zoom meeng,
something hit my head, the realisaon that my tenth
grade had ended but I was certainly looking forward to
eleventh grade. We did meet a few of our teachers and
peers over a zoom meet and I was keen on learning Dhanvi Hrudya - XII
from them. The last eighteen months have been a roller
coaster ride for all of us, we have done some crazy
things and we also did get a hang of virtual schooling
but I sll do hope for things to get beer in the near
future so we finally get to aend physical classes.
